Emiratiya Pin
To celebrate the remarkable women of the UAE we created virtual landmarks on Waze, a popular navigation tool, to share the incredible stories of Emirati women. As Waze users got close to an Emiratiya Pin, a banner would appear with a historical fact from the region – teaching locals about these strong and capable women on their daily commute. If Waze users wanted to find more of these stories, they could easily zoom out on the map to find multiple Emiratiya Pins scattered across the region, each with a story.
